Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate EMS Instructor located in Chester, VA. The Associate EMS Instructor will be responsible for teaching EMS education courses, providing paramedic training, monitoring student progress, and aiding in the development of educational materials. The role includes delivering lectures, facilitating practical training sessions, and ensuring compliance with U.S. National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) standards. The instructor will also provide guidance in prehospital care and medicine, assess student performance, and participate in faculty meetings and curriculum planning.

Qualifications

• EMS Education and Paramedic training experience
• Certification with the U.S. National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT)
• Knowledge of Prehospital Care and general Medicine
• Excellent communication and instructional skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Previous teaching experience, preferably in a community college setting
• A minimum of an Associate's degree in a related field is required.
