Associate Director – Technical Accounting - Tyson Foods : Job Details

As part of Corporate Accounting, this position is a lead role in our technical accounting function. This position will serve as an expert on U.S. GAAP and SEC technical accounting issues by researching complex transactions and new accounting guidance, independently assessing implications, documenting conclusions, communicating with the impacted businesses and corporate departments, training, and managing an implementation plan. This position routinely provides technical accounting guidance related to various contracts, revenue recognition, leases, derivatives, VIE assessments, impairment analysis, acquisitions, divestitures, and overall application of new and existing accounting standards. This position also supervises and develops other Corporate Accounting team members who assist with the completion of the technical accounting reviews.
