Associate Director, Project Management Office(Onsite in Liberty Lake, WA area)(Must be US citizen or have green card) What You Will Be Doing
  • Oversees and guides the Project Management Office to ensure that all projects align with the organization's strategic goals. This includes establishing and maintaining project management standards, methodologies, and best practices, providing leadership and direction to project managers, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration to achieve project objectives.
  • Responsible for resource allocation, performance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Governance: Establish and maintain project management standards, methodologies, and best practices across the organization.
  • Resource Management: Effectively allocate and manage resources, including staffing, budgeting, and scheduling, to ensure project success.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with projects to minimize impact on project delivery.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on project performance, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project managers and team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Portfolio Management: Responsible for selecting, prioritizing, and overseeing projects to ensure they align with the organization's strategic objectives and deliver maximum value.
  • Reporting: Manages and is responsible for reporting on the status and progress of all projects in the portfolio. Will maintain portfolio dashboard and be accountable for effective escalation.
What you will bring to the table:
  • Master's in Business Administration strongly preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) OR Program Management Professional (PgMP) required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with a significant portion in leadership roles.
  • Ongoing professional development through workshops, seminars, and additional certifications to stay current with industry best practices.
  • Experience managing projects in a pharmaceutical environment or FDA-regulated setting is preferred.
