$85,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr

Seeking a strategic and data-driven, results-driven Paid Social Associate Director to lead and oversee paid social media campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X, Snapchat). The ideal candidate is both an expert media buyer and a people leader, with deep knowledge of media buying, campaign strategy, audience segmentation, performance optimization, and creative best practices. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and clients to drive measurable business outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new opportunities for social growth by cultivating relationships with platform representatives and vendors.
  • Research and analyze emerging ideas, trends, and technologies in the social media landscape to inform and educate clients.
  • Assist in managing and mentoring a team of 4+ media buyers, fostering their professional development and ensuring high performance.
  • Contribute to paid social audits for new business pitches, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Actively manage 5-6 paid social accounts, overseeing strategy, execution, and optimization.
  • Maintain quality control over media planning, ad trafficking, tracking setups and cross functional team collaboration.
  • Implement tactical planning and buying across various paid social platforms, such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Pinterest, and TikTok.
  • Understand, contextualize, and execute comprehensive paid social strategies, including performance marketing, branded content/partnership ads, and advanced reporting using tools like GA4 and post IDs.
  • Develop and present creative strategy recommendations to clients as needed, collaborating with internal creative teams.
  • Prepare and present Monthly Business Review (MBR) and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) reports to both internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams to build and deliver insightful client reporting.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in paid social marketing and the competitive landscape, ensuring the implementation of best practices and fostering innovation in all activities. Utilize these learnings to streamline internal processes.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in digital marketing with a focus on paid social.
  • Proven expertise in planning, building, and optimizing paid social campaigns across a diverse range of platforms.
  • Proven experience managing and mentoring junior- to mid-level media buyers
  • Proficiency with Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, and Pinterest advertising platforms.
  • Strong client-facing presentation skills, with the ability to digest complex marketing datasets and articulate complex strategies clearly and concisely.
  • Experience working with mid-to-large-scale campaigns (i.e., budgets of $100,000+).
  • Exceptional organizational and verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated with a strong desire to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Experience with creative strategy, including the ability to identify, iterate, and generate compelling ad concepts in collaboration with creative teams.
  • Agency or multi-client experience preferred.
