About Baltimore City Community College

Founded in 1947, Baltimore City Community College (BCCC) is a comprehensive, urban institution accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Job Summary

As a member of the Advancement team, the Associate Director of Scholarships oversees the institutional and BCCC Foundations Scholarship programs, providing operational support and leadership. Reporting to the Vice President for Advancement, this role supports the President in scholarship relations. The individual collaborates across the college to manage institutional and grant scholarships (both annual and endowed), aiming to enhance the scholarship profile and establish criteria and requirements for the respective portfolios. The role involves working closely with the Vice President for Advancement and the Development team (including the Director of Development and Associate Director for Alumni Relations) to cultivate donor relationships, renew scholarship gifts, administer the BCCC Foundation scholarship management system via Raisers Edge, and maintain digital and physical files. The individual will work in a shared governance environment with diverse populations to promote the college's mission and values.

Responsibilities/Duties

Implements, coordinates, and maintains the BCCC Foundation scholarship portfolio, including preparing new scholarship agreements, monitoring existing agreements (including endowments), and maintaining regular communication and updates.
