Join our dedicated team at Humana and contribute to our mission of putting health first. As the Associate Director of Regulatory Compliance, you will play a vital role in ensuring our organization meets all governmental regulations and compliance standards.
This is a remote position, but candidates must be willing to work in either Central or Eastern Time. In this role, you will oversee enterprise-wide regulatory monitoring, facilitate communication regarding new or amended regulations, and implement quality assurance processes to maintain compliance post-implementation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and workflows to drive effective department operations.
- Utilizing the Enterprise Solution Point (ESP) data for risk assessment, scoring methodology, and reporting.
- Conducting ongoing analytics to support continuous process improvement.
- Coordinating inter-departmental meetings to achieve strategic goals.
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government regulators.
- Managing a team of subject matter experts, overseeing the development and distribution of regulatory summaries, and ensuring proper implementation validation.
- Leading efforts to enhance reporting, trend analysis, and operational improvements across departments.
- Establishing a comprehensive regulatory process, including intake, analysis, distribution, implementation, and testing.
- Defining and monitoring metrics to track regulatory volume, timeliness, risks, and issues.
- Creating a post-implementation compliance assessment program to evaluate regulatory adherence.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 6 years of technical experience, including at least 2 years in a management capacity.
- Advanced experience in compliance, risk management, or the managed-care field.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
- A genuine passion for improving consumer experiences in a compliance-focused environment.
Preferred qualifications include leadership experience within compliance or risk management and advanced degrees like an MBA or Juris Doctor.
