We are seeking a dynamic and experienced AssociateDirector of Nursing (ADN) to provide administrative and clinical leadershipduring off shifts, weekends, and holidays at our Brooklyn-based medical center.The ADN serves as the on-site nursing executive during non-standard hours,assuming full responsibility for the coordination and delivery of safe,high-quality, and compassionate patient care.
Compensation: 128,750.00 - $143,250.00 Per Year
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical oversight andleadership for all nursing units and services during off-shift hours
- Ensure appropriate staffing levelsand reallocation of resources to meet patient care demands
- Oversee critical incident response,patient care escalations, and service recovery activities
- Support staff with clinicaldecision-making, conflict resolution, and patient/family concerns
- Collaborate with physicians, unitleaders, and ancillary departments to ensure continuity of care
- Monitor adherence to hospitalpolicies, regulatory standards, and quality/safety guidelines
- Facilitate seamless communicationbetween off-shift staff and nursing leadership/administration
- Participate in performanceimprovement initiatives and provide real-time coaching to staff
- Serve as an on-site representativeof Nursing Leadership, making timely decisions that uphold patient safetyand operational efficiency
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Current and valid New York State RNlicense
- Minimum of three (3) years ofnursing experience
- Prior nursing leadership orsupervisory experience
- BCLS/ACLS certification
