Job Title: Assistant Director of Nursing

Shift: 4x10s (10-hour shifts)

Schedule: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday | 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to provide night-shift leadership and oversight for acute care operations. This role focuses on enhancing patient care outcomes, supporting nursing staff performance, and maintaining clinical excellence across multiple units. The ADON will work closely with Nurse Managers to assess operations and implement corrective actions as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and develop programs to improve patient care and nursing staff performance.

Monitor patient care delivery and unit performance during the night shift.

Partner with Nurse Managers to identify, address, and resolve performance or operational issues.

Develop and maintain record-keeping systems for medication errors and counseling documentation.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• RN License – Required (Primary Source Verification required)
• BSN – Required
• Master's Degree – Preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years in nursing, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role
