Position SummaryThe Associate Director of Enrollment is a hybrid operational and recruitment role that advances the university's enrollment objectives by combining high-impact student engagement with institutional process coordination. This position supports the Executive Director by tracking team outreach and enrollment metrics, standardizing onboarding workflows, and reporting progress across the funnel, while also managing a personal caseload of prospective students through the full admissions lifecycle.This role operates with an elevated level of responsibility to ensure recruitment activities are effectively implemented, measured, and continuously improved in alignment with strategic goals.Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of prospective students through inquiry, application, deposit, and onboarding stages using multichannel outreach (phone, text, email, video).
- Conduct personalized recruitment outreach and guide students through university programs, application requirements, financial aid processes, and orientation preparation.
- Represent the university at high school visits, community events, virtual college fairs, and admitted student events.
- Support campus visit programming in collaboration with marketing and event staff.
- Coordinate the collection and reporting of performance metrics for the Student Enrollment Advisor team, including outreach volume, conversion rates, and onboarding completion.
- Track key enrollment indicators and generate weekly updates for the Executive Director on teamlevel progress, risks, and caseload health.
- Identify process gaps and recommend adjustments to improve recruitment and onboarding outcomes.
- Develop and maintain checklists, scripts, templates, and training guides to support consistent and effective outreach across the team.
Collaborate with CRM administrators to ensure data accuracy and streamline caseload reporting functions.
- Organize calendars, outreach sequencing, and project timelines to maintain alignment with institutional campaigns.
- Work with Financial Aid, Registrar, Student Life, and Academic Advising to proactively resolve onboarding holds and improve firstday readiness for all incoming students.
- Provide coordination support for yieldrelated events, admitted student programming, and orientation prep in partnership with internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Higher Education, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required.
- Master's degree in Higher Education, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 35 years of experience in admissions, recruitment, or studentfacing enrollment services.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding enrollment and performance goals.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, data analysis, and performance reporting.
- Ability to adapt to a fastpaced, goaloriented environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel locally for recruitment and outreach.
- Oncampus presence required; this is not a remote position.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
