Position Overview

Physician Affiliate Group of New York, P.C. (PAGNY) is seeking an Associate Director of CPEP to join the department at NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi. Jacobi Medical Center, located in the Bronx, serves over 325,000 outpatient visits, 100,000 emergency room visits, and 20,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital features renowned centers such as The Trauma Center, the fully accredited Breast Health Center, and The Burn Center. It maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein Medical College.

The Department of Psychiatry includes 89 adult acute inpatient beds, a CPEP, a Consultation-Liaison Service, an Adult Ambulatory Practice, and a Community-Based Assertive Community Treatment Program. The department emphasizes evidence-based practices and patient-centered care, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise attending psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric PAs, residents, and medical students.
  • Oversee delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care, collaborating with inpatient, outpatient, and emergency departments.
  • Lead patient safety initiatives and clinical effectiveness efforts.
  • Provide leadership in medical education for students and residents.
  • Participate in incident review and departmental meetings.
  • Review and update care guidelines to ensure compliance with OMH regulations.
  • Manage departmental tours and provide direct patient care.
