Associate Director of Counseling and Psychiatric Services - Dickinson College : Job Details

The Associate Director of Counseling and Psychiatric Services oversees the daily operation of Counseling and Psychiatric Services. The position provides leadership and training within the Wellness Centers integrated healthcare model to support outpatient counseling services for students struggling with a range of mental health issues, including drug and alcohol use. Additionally, this position will provide clinical mental health services, including, but not limited to, conducting initial mental health assessments, providing individual and group therapy, and providing crisis assessment and intervention. Essential Functions: Supervise counseling staff, including planning, assigning, scheduling, and reviewing work to ensure quality standards. Has responsibility for reviewing performance and administering corrective action.
