The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking an ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR-NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION to participate in the design, implementation and evaluation of orientation programs for freshmen, transfer students and their parent/family members. To manage, supervise, and advise the Orientation Leaders (O - Ls) and the Orientation Leader Coordinators (OL - Cs). To assist with the administration of Parent/ Family Orientation activities and various office administrative duties. RESPONSIBILITIES:Participates in the planning, implementation and evaluation of a mandatory New Student Orientation program for undergraduate freshmen and transfer students. Assists with the administration of Parent Orientation as needed. Coordinates the recruitment, selection, training and supervision of student O - Ls and OL - Cs. Monitors monies budgeted for the OL program. Represents the office, division and the University on committees and at professional meetings relative to New Student Orientation.
