This role is on-site in Sleepy Hollow, NY 4 days per week and 1 day from home. Warren, NJ is not an option for this position.
The Associate Director of Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EOE) HCP Marketing will report to the Director, EoE HCP Marketing. The primary areas of responsibility will be to develop and implement comprehensive strategies and plans for market development, HCP engagement, and congresses for GI and ALG to educate HCPs. Specifically, this will include developing strategically focused and customized DSA and branded peer-to-peer programs and the brand EOE presence, including booth, sponsorships, product theaters, and resources for national, regional, and local congresses.
In a typical day, you will:
Develop and execute marketing initiatives to support the treatment of EOE aligned to the broader GI and ALG Marketing strategy and creative
Lead market development strategy and tactical execution activities as the Marketing KOL Lead, including advisory boards, steering committees, national society sponsorships, KOL engagement, and creation of marketing materials for peer-to-peer education and promotion
Lead national congress strategy and tactical execution, including booth design, sponsorships, and product theaters, and plan KOL engagements at national congresses in collaboration with TLL and Sales teams
Develop resources to support regional and local congresses
Engage with KOLs to develop relationships and gather insights to further understand EOE disease state, EOE management, and HCP challenges
Address key insights and proactively identify customer needs to establish the brand as the treatment of choice in EOE
Engage with GI national societies to identify and develop partnership and sponsorship opportunities
Ensure that the EOE brand strategy is aligned to support the overall franchise strategy
Demonstrate knowledge of Gastroenterologists, Allergists, APPs, EOE disease state, and market trends
Pull through and execution of a 1-3-year tactical plan
Foster a strong partnership with Medical Affairs, Clinical, HEOR, Market Access, Market Research, Regulatory, Legal, Commercial Operations, and other functions in developing HCP resources to ensure aligned objectives and implementation across all functions
To be considered you must possess:
Bachelor's Degree, MBA a plus
10+ years of progressive pharmaceutical industry/relevant professional experience; 8+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech marketing, product management, or related experience industry/relevant professional experience
Gastroenterology/Immunology experience preferred
Launch experience a plus
Prior pharmaceutical sales experience a plus
Self-injectable biologics experience a plus
Previous work within a co-promote or Alliance is a plus
Congress planning and execution experience a plus
Ability to travel 40%
The position requires a highly motivated individual with a strong strategic and scientific acumen and a laser focus on execution.
Must be able to operate in a high-paced environment and manage multiple projects at the same time
Exhibit organizational agility and capability to identify the need to reprioritize in relation to external or internal environmental changes
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with team members to develop and execute education programs and support materials
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently with team members and across departments to ensure consistency and collaboration in strategy development and implementation of programs
