Associate Director, Macquarie Holdings (USA) Inc, New York, NY. Responsibilities: As an Associate Director within Macquarie Capital Group, responsible for performing due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including performing detailed quality assessment of business (i.e., assessment of business model, recurring revenue, key customers, diversification of customers, and supplier base) as well as assessing risks, such as commodity, foreign exchange, and cyclicality; overseeing performance of financial analysis and valuation modelling, including review, construction, and revision of financial projection models; preparing internal presentations of due diligence findings; managing live transaction execution as well as negotiating and facilitating legal documentation process; performing detailed review of various industries and sectors, including assessment of competitive structure, threat of new entrants, and regulatory risks, to support consideration of investment opportunities; and managing team of analysts and associates, including leading direction of diligence and providing framework for analyses. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field (Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics) and 7 years of experience in job offered or 7 years of investment banking and/or management consulting experience, including identifying and assessing potential investment opportunities and executing transactions. Prior experience must include 5 years performing quality assessment of businesses, including reviewing business models, revenue models, key customers, customer retention, suppliers, and cost base; 5 years of experience building and reviewing financial projection models; 5 years of experience negotiating and facilitating legal documentation process; and 5 years of experience preparing internal presentations regarding potential investment opportunities and corresponding risk. Within this salary range the base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
