Position Overview
The Associate Director (AD) for the Idaho Assistive Technology Project (IATP) will help deliver assistive technology services statewide to individuals with disabilities, their families, and professionals through oversight and participation in multiple grants. The role involves working alongside the IATP Director to implement the Assistive Technology Act, collaborating with national and statewide disability agencies, maintaining relationships with Idaho federal congressional members, and participating in staff supervision, grant writing, teaching, budgeting, research, and publishing.
Required Experience
Five years of experience as a speech/language pathologist in public education, working with people with disabilities, providing speech and language services, and using assistive technology in professional practice.
