Specific Job Title: Associate Director for Budget, Planning, and Analysis

Job Summary: The Associate Director for Budget, Planning, and Analysis plays a key leadership role in assisting with budget development, financial planning, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. This position provides strategic financial analysis, modeling, and reporting to inform decision-making across St. John's University. The Associate Director works collaboratively with academic and administrative units to promote fiscal stewardship, transparency, and alignment of resources with St. John's University's institutional priorities.

Work Environment: The primary work environment is a typical office setting within the Office of Business Affairs.
Physical Demands: Physical demands would be of a typical office environment, with employees required to sit for long periods of time at a computer. Communication is done by phone and email with various departments and outside vendors.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Longer hours may be required to meet deadlines, as necessary.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual salary range for this position is $135,000 - $145,000. St. John's University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
