Associate Director, FLITE Labs - Heartland Community College : Job Details

We seek applicants for a full-time Associate Director position to maintain and support all aspects of the Flexible Learning in Technical Education (FLITE) lab and future off-campus flex labs located at partner employer sites. This role will coordinate budgeting, purchasing, and maintenance for FLITE and flex lab supplies, as well as technical equipment. The Associate Director will hire, train, schedule, and supervise laboratory assistants and student employees, and provide maintenance and support services for FLITE and flex labs and programs, including safety and inventory management. This role is responsible for a variety of support activities, including research, analysis, and recommendations concerning industrial equipment, tools, software, and hardware. This position will also assist in the development and establishment of external flex labs and work with external stakeholders.
