Key responsibilities will include optimizing internal modelling and workflows, managing third party relationships with energy data providers and frameworks, collection of as-reported energy data, developing derived energy content and insights (including using AI), as well as advising the Strategic Business Units (SBUs) on the integration of energy data into product solutions.The Associate Director will liaise with both internal and external stakeholders including current and prospective clients, internal content teams, the SBU's and their strategists, product development teams, engineering teams, operations teams and the sales and consulting teams, among others. Responsibilities:* Contribute strategy to the FactSet energy team product road map* Optimize legacy in house models to streamline operations* Create a client-facing AI daily news summary from existing structured and unstructured data sets* Accelerate Deep Sector data AI readiness and client facing solutions* Execute on collection of as-reported energy content across all asset classes* Optimize existing and create new internal energy team workflows and models* Advise on FactSet Energy content collection, distribution, and content expansion* Provide insights and direction of overall energy content strategy to engineering and product development* Client facing partnership with the SBUs and sales organization to gather insights, better inform the energy content strategy and provide content expertise* Advise and coordinate across the SBU product strategy teams on the integration of energy data into the FactSet end points* Partner with the SBU client strategy teams to assess and meet the needs of clients* Coordinate with the broader Data Solutions and Deep Sector teams to execute on content initiatives and execution* Identify thought leadership opportunities* Lead any business cases for future investmentQualifications:* Undergraduate degree in mathematics, finance, economics or relevant industry required* Graduate degree in mathematics, finance, economics, MBA or relevant industry preferred* 12+ years relevant experience within energy, financial services, experience with all aspects of the energy market* Able to be an authoritative figure on energy and related content sets and how they integrate into all of our client workflows* Proven ability to create and present executive level and client facing presentations* Ability to lead and manage larger strategic projects and initiatives* Previous management experience with exposure to people management, budgeting and financial analysis* Experience with offshore and outsourced teams and operations* Ability to work collaboratively with many stakeholders, teams and processes* Proven organizational skills and an ability to multitask effectively* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Proven track record with demonstration of strong skills working in SQL, Python, GIS* Proven track record working with AI workflows* Familiarity with the Microsoft suite of products and market data platformsMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureThe budgeted salary amount range for this position in the states of New York, Connecticut, Colorado, and Tennessee is $120,000 - $160,000**Why Life is Better as a FactSetter:*** Secure your future with our discounted employee stock purchase program and 401K matching* 3 weeks paid time off your first year of employment* No or low-cost medical, dental and vision care* Reimbursement for eligible expenses related to the CFA, CIPM, CAIA and FRM exams* Wellness programs including gym discounts and more* 16 weeks paid parental leave for the primary caregiver (4 weeks for secondary)* Employee referral bonuses**Company Overview:**FactSet (NYSE:FDS | NASDAQ:FDS) helps the financial community to see more, think bigger, and work better.
