Family Health Centers at NYU Langone, a designated Level 3 Medical Home, is the largest federally qualified health center network in New York State, and the second largest in the nation. It includes eight primary care sites, 40 school-based health centers and dental clinics, four day care centers, the nation's largest dental residency program, and New York State's largest behavioral health program. The network also includes 12 community medicine sites providing care to disenfranchised New Yorkers, comprehensive HIV services, chemical dependency programs, and a family support center that offers educational, vocational, and other social support programs. Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Associate Director, Dentistry. In this role, the successful candidate will manage a cohort of residents, faculty, and clinical training sites, ensuring compliance with program requirements and CODA standards.

Job Responsibilities
  • Travel: Routine travel to clinical sites and conferences.
  • Accountability: Report to the Program Directors; ensure compliance with policies.
  • Accreditation: Manage mock and actual CODA site visits.
  • Communication: Serve as the main contact for residents, faculty, and sites.
  • Program Management: Oversee documentation, reporting, and evaluations.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Recruitment: Assist in recruiting residents and sites.
  • Minimum Qualifications
    • DDS or DMD license or eligibility in the US.
    • At least five years of dental practice experience.
    • Graduate of an accredited DDS or DMD program.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Completion of an accredited AEGD or GPR Residency program.

    Qualified candidates must communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
