This role will focus on designing and scaling tools that support protocol development, site and country planning, and other high-impact areas of clinical trial productivity.As a hands-on product leader, you'll translate complex business problems into clear technical requirements, partner closely with engineering and data science teams, and manage end-to-end delivery of solutions. You'll also play a key role in establishing agile ways of working, tooling infrastructure, and best practices across the product lifecycle.Key Responsibilities

  • Product Development & Execution Own the delivery of high-impact clinical trial enablement tools by writing detailed requirements, defining user stories, and managing backlogs. Ensure timely, high-quality execution across agile sprints.
  • Technical & Cross-Functional Collaboration Serve as the day-to-day product lead working closely with software engineers, data scientists, and UX designers.
  • Roadmap & Prioritization Translate stakeholder input into structured product roadmaps, balancing user needs, technical feasibility, and strategic value. Use data to drive prioritization decisions and track delivery metrics.
  • Stakeholder Engagement Engage with internal users such as protocol authors, feasibility managers, and trial delivery leaders to deeply understand workflows and pain points. Actively gather feedback to improve product usability and adoption.
  • Agile Leadership & Tooling Champion product management best practices. Help define sprint cadences, retrospective formats, and delivery KPIs in collaboration with scrum leads and project managers.
  • Launch & Iteration Lead pilots, user acceptance testing, and rollout planning. Monitor usage metrics and implement improvements based on data and feedback.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business); advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in digital product management or technology delivery, preferably in clinical trial start-up/execution, or pharma/biotech/medtech business operations
  • 5+ years Data Analytics experience with proven track record of success for driving forward large initiatives by generating buy-in, managing multiple complex projects, and continuously completing excellent quality analytics is required.
  • Familiarity with modern software development and product management tools including SQL, Python, R, github, Jira, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with technical teams to deliver scalable, user-centered tools.
  • Experience creating and managing product documentation, backlogs, roadmaps, and metrics dashboards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfort operating across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • People Management and experience leading functional teams with proven ability to foster team productivity and cohesiveness.
  • Experience with enterprise software product management and oversight of enterprise software solutions with a deep understanding of clinical development and relevant business applications.
  • Strong and proactive stakeholder engagements skills are critical.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with clinical trial operations, including protocol development, country/site planning, and digital transformation in R&D.
  • Basic technical fluency in data systems, APIs, or machine learning concepts (for collaboration, not implementation).
  • Experience conducting user research or usability testing in a regulated or complex domain.
