Associate Director Modeling, Measurement Innovation

About the Position:

Dotdash Meredith is seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Director of Modeling to lead the modeling efforts within the Measurement Team. You will focus on building advanced models (predictive modeling, optimization, etc.) using large-scale internal 1PD, as well as 3PD when applicable, to show the impact of advertising on Dotdash Meredith's properties. You will collaborate closely with the Sr Director of Campaign Insights, and a specialized team of analysts and engineers, to align and drive results across our key lines of business. You will have the full support of the larger Research Team, and communication channels with internal teams, including Data Science, Data Operations, and Data Engineering.

Hybrid 3x a week - NYC

In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid, with the ability to work remotely up to 2 days per week.

Contributions:

• Be a key driver of creative problem solving for existing client needs and proactive solutions to marketplace challenges.
• Aid in designing experiments for studies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on testing for new pilot projects.
• Develop new statistical solutions with the measurement team.

• Standardize data sourcing and aggregation processes.
• Update ML models for clients.
• Educate stakeholders on methodologies.

• Present findings clearly, accurately, and with integrity.
• Communicate technical aspects to stakeholders and clients.
• Visualize data and model outputs effectively.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Skills and Experience:

• 8+ years in advanced modeling and analytics: building, tuning, operationalizing statistical models; strong statistical and analytical skills; experience with data collection and harmonization; design of experiments; proficiency in Python, SQL, Big Query.
• 5+ years in measurement, analytics, or product roles: experience with large datasets, Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager, cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud.
• Attention to detail, excellent communication, client management, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with health measurement vendors like Crossix, Symphony Health, IQVIA.
• Experience managing teams across multiple offices in time-sensitive environments.

Salary: $125,000 - $140,000 in NYC.
