Job Overview

Provide risk oversight for the Quantitative Strategies Group (QSG) within the Central Funding Group (CFG) and ETF Market Making US (ETF MM US) within Global Markets Management (GMM). Oversee market risk reporting for these units, ensuring accuracy of key risk metrics and compliance with risk limits. Analyze complex transactions, assess inherent and residual risks, and evaluate impacts on the business. Manage a market risk limit framework aligned with RBC's risk appetite and strategy. Drive enhancements in risk reporting infrastructure in collaboration with Risk IT. Escalate emerging risks and provide analytical insights to senior management. Utilize advanced statistical techniques to analyze data trends.

  • Telecommuting permitted 2 days per week
  • Full-time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week
  • Salary: $160,597 per year
Minimum Requirements
  • Master's degree in Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or related field
  • At least 3 years of related work experience
  • Experience with Data Reporting Tools (Tableau, Oracle BI), Python, SQL, Bloomberg Terminal
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in ETF markets
