We are seeking an Associate Director to join our high-performing ATS team in New York. We offer a hybrid work environment with flexibility for remote work and onsite client service, involving local travel within New York.

Responsibilities
  • Manage strategic technical accounting advisory engagements and lead multidisciplinary teams across various industries, primarily as a generalist.
  • Advise clients on complex technical accounting issues such as revenue recognition, lease accounting, new accounting standards implementation, debt/equity transactions, share-based compensation, purchase accounting, IPO process, and consolidation.
  • Research and resolve complex accounting issues within US GAAP, balancing client needs and standards.
  • Manage highly qualified technical accounting teams.
  • Interact with clients and internal teams, including goal setting, mentoring, and providing expert guidance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university.
  • At least 7 years of technical accounting and transaction advisory experience, preferably from a top-tier public accounting firm or reputable in-house corporate experience.
  • Strong management skills in people, projects, and clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex topics and generate insights.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments and adapt to changing priorities.
