Associate Design Engineer- Electrical - Caterpillar : Job Details

As an Electrical Designer in this role, you will work closely with a product group and engineering project lead to assist in the design and development of various electrical components such as harnesses, cables, sensor groups, schematics and associated mounting components for various caterpillar machines. This position performs various design activities that include: Model and detail sensor groups, create harness or cable routings using modeling software, create and/or modify schematics, design/model associated mounting components such as brackets, identify and assist in resolution of design problems, work closely with other Caterpillar teams and suppliers. What You Will Do:Create models and drawings for various electrical components or assemblies (i.e. sensor groups, wiring harnesses, cables, and mounting brackets)Create and/or modify wiring schematics.
