The Barbara H. Hagan School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Molloy University is pleased to invite applications for the position of Associate Dean for Health Sciences, to join our supportive, energetic, interdisciplinary community of teacher-scholars. The School of Nursing and Health Sciences offers an array of nursing, allied health and communication sciences programs. Our well-regarded, accredited Health Sciences programs Include a Bachelors-level major and a Masters program in Speech-Language Pathology, a new PhD in Communication Sciences, Bachelors in Respiratory care and in Nuclear Medicine Technology, an Associate degree in cardiovascular Technology, and a Bachelors degree completion program in Health Service Leadership. Exciting new programs in the health sciences are being explored and planned. The Associate Dean for Health Sciences will serve as administrator for existing programs and will promote the creation and implementation of innovative new programs and opportunities in the Health Sciences. The ideal candidate will have experience in academic administration and leadership, program development and program assessment, and research and publication. The applicant will also demonstrate evidence of teaching and curriculum expertise, faculty development and mentorship competencies, as well as enthusiasm for interprofessional collaboration. All of the programs in The Barbara H. Hagan School of Nursing and Health Sciences take a holistic and personal approach to the development of students as clinicians, leaders, researchers, advocates for health equity and improvement of healthcare, and as lifelong learners. The ideal candidate will also share this commitment. This is a 12-month position. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Eligible for unrestricted licensure in a health science specialty in New York State or certified in the health science specialty
  • Relevant doctoral degree
  • Experience in academic administration, health professions teaching, and faculty development
Salary Information: When determining the salary offer for a new employee, Molloy considers several key characteristics such as job knowledge, skills, and experience as well as internal and external equity. The hiring annual salary range for this position is $140,000 to $155,000. This annual salary represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting.
