You'll be embedded in the Applied business on the Air & Water Ecosystem team, playing a critical role in building data capabilities, delivering actionable insights, and enabling data-driven decisions for a fast-growing category of commercial-grade solutions. - Data Management & Integration
- Collect, clean, and transform data from internal systems (e.g., PLM, ERP, CRM, service portals) and external sources (e.g., market data, utility providers).
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, and digital teams to develop consistent data pipelines and dashboards for product performance and business metrics.
- Product & Market Analytics
- Analyze product usage, reliability, installation environments, and service data to provide insights that guide design decisions, warranty strategies, and customer support models.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and industry trend analysis specific to commercial HVAC and plumbing.
- Operational & Commercial Support
- Monitor KPIs for supply chain, logistics, and sales related to the new product line.
- Deliver insights that inform pricing, bundling strategies, and customer segmentation in B2B channels.
- Visualization & Reporting
- Build intuitive dashboards (using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools) to communicate performance, trends, and anomalies to stakeholders across engineering, product, and executive teams.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with the IoT, controls, and service teams to ensure seamless integration of telemetry data for remote diagnostics and predictive analytics.
- Support Voice of the Customer (VoC) and field trials by quantifying feedback and usage data.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Required: - Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 0-1 year of experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role, preferably in manufacturing, HVAC, plumbing, or commercial equipment.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one analytics/visualization platform (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience working with large datasets and conducting end-to-end data projects.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate data into business insights.
Preferred: - Experience with IoT telemetry or sensor-based data analytics.
- Familiarity with HVAC/plumbing industry standards or commercial product lifecycles.
- Working knowledge of Python or R for statistical analysis.
