• Member of the New York State Bar.• Four years of post-Bar experience as a licensed attorney.• Six-months of litigation experience.• Two years of legal practice experience in a position that involved regular legal research and writing in the areas of energy law and/or public utility law.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:• Demonstrated knowledge of the law and policy issues related to the electric and natural gas industries, as well as an understanding of environmental law and emerging energy industries such as the alternative fuels and distributed generation industries.• Knowledge or experience in natural resources law and climate change.• Legal experience in consumer protection matters.• Litigation experience in public utility regulation.It is essential that candidates clearly and concisely indicate exactly how they meet the above minimum qualifications in their resume.
