Join Our Team as an Associate Broker in New York, NY

This in-office position does not involve commission-based pay or cold calling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review submission information for new or renewal quotes
  • Analyze submissions and select appropriate markets
  • Determine coverage needs and develop proposals
  • Handle inspection recommendations and discrepancies
  • Build relationships with agency and underwriter partners
  • Respond to calls and requests, providing solutions for problems or delays
  • Supervise or delegate endorsement requests, applications, forms, and certificates to carriers
  • Monitor reports for consistency
  • Assist in training and supervise technical staff if applicable
  • Develop personal sources of business if possible
  • Candidate Requirements
    • 3-5 years of commercial insurance experience; wholesale experience preferred
    • Effective negotiation skills
    • Ability to build relationships internally and externally
    • Problem-solving skills
    • Strong organizational skills and willingness to take on challenges
    • High accuracy and attention to detail
