Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Professional; provides personal care to patients in the hospital; ages infant to geriatric. Educational Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Licenses and Certifications Certification as Nursing Assistant or equivalent desired. CPR Certification. Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities Must be able to perform clerical responsibilities, patient care responsibilities and phlebotomy. Apply understandings to carry out written and oral instructions. Recognize problems and take reporting action based upon sound judgment. Reading and writing, speaking, and basic addition, subtraction skills required. Demonstrates proficiency in cognitive and psychomotor skills required for job performance. Exercises good time management skills and maintains productive use of time.
