The Assistant Wellness Director assumes delegated responsibility and accountability for the provision of resident care according to professional standards of nursing practice in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. Assistant Wellness Director Responsibilities include: Maintains and implements nursing policies and procedures that reflect current standards of nursing practice, company, and facility philosophy of care and practices while maintaining compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. Communicates and interprets policies and procedures to nursing staff. Monitors practices for effective implementation and achievement of results. Conducts resident assessments, suggesting level of needed service packages to residents and their families, as directed.
