Join a leading private equity firm as the Assistant Vice President of Fund Accounting. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily accounting operations for the firm's funds, ensuring the accuracy of financial data and reporting. Responsibilities include maintaining the accounting ledger for private equity funds, preparing detailed financial statements and reports, and playing a key role in deal closings. You will also collaborate with the tax team to support reporting and analysis. We are looking for a meticulous professional with a robust background in fund accounting, especially within private equity. Your expertise will be critical in areas such as quarterly and annual reporting, and the preparation of capital call and distribution notices. A Bachelor's degree is required and candidates should have 5-6 years of experience in fund accounting, particularly in private equity, with proficiency in the FIS Private Capital Suite being a strong advantage. Familiarity with general ledger systems and relevant software is essential. This role is integral to maintaining the integrity of the firm's financial operations, and we seek individuals with a proven track record in similar positions.
