Job Description

Ares Management seeks a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional to join the Credit FP&A and Capital Formation team within the Finance organization, primarily based in Los Angeles, with collaboration across Boston and New York offices. The ideal candidate will have experience with private credit fund financing, fund forecasting, liquidity, and liability management, and must thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Build and manage fund projection models for public and private funds.
  • Analyze and assess debt capital opportunities.
  • Assist in debt and equity capital raising activities, including revolvers, asset-based financing, unsecured notes, and equity issues.
  • Oversee automation projects related to debt facilities and forecasting models.
  • Prepare presentations and data requests for lenders and rating agencies.
  • Manage various ad-hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred.
  • CPA or CFA certifications are a plus.

Experience:

  • 5-7+ years of relevant experience, preferably in finance or financial services.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI, Anaplan is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range: $145,000 - $185,000, plus discretionary bonuses. Benefits include comprehensive health plans, 401(k) with match, FSA, HSA, insurance, wellness programs, and more.

Additional Information

Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled. This role is classified as Mid-Senior level, full-time, within the administrative job function.
