Assistant Teacher - School Readiness - Danbury Public Schools District : Job Details

To serve as an integral member of the classroom instructional team by assisting the teacher and district in providing services that supports the district's mission to educate preschool children to higher levels. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Implements weekly curriculum plans using the CT Early Learning Development Guidelines, NAEYC Standards, and assess children using CT DOTS Works in collaboration with other staff to provide integrated services. Participates in weekly team meetings and evening family events. Participates in staff training as required for the position. Maintains records, including daily communication with parents, assessments, lesson plans, and individualized goals for children and parent-teacher conference forms. Maintains daily cleanliness and learning structure of the classroom where independency is encouraged. Performs related duties as appropriate for the position.
