Assistant Teacher-Child Care - Full Time - Guthrie Health : Job Details

Job Summary: Provides a safe environment for children.

Responsibilities:

* Ensures children are supervised at all times.

* Ensures the environment is safe, clean and in good repair. Reports deficiencies to supervisor

immediately.

* Follows acceptable protocol when accepting children for child care coverage.

* Interacts with children and parents appropriately.

* Assists in maintaining the ordered arrangement, appearance, dcor, and learning environment of the

classroom while allowing for the expressive and creative involvement and interaction of children.

Complexity of Work:

* Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal

supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

Personal Protective Equipment:

* Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

* Required Credential(s):

* BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

* High school diploma or GED preferred.

Pay rate ranges from $16.00 - 22.37 per hour.
