Work closely with the Project Superintendent and team to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality project completion. This role provides an opportunity to impact communities by delivering affordable housing.Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate and Coordinate: Assist in developing construction plans and schedules, working with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
- Site Management: Oversee site operations, ensuring subcontractors and workers adhere to safety and quality standards.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures and conduct inspections to meet specifications and standards.
- Resource Management: Handle procurement, delivery of materials, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Financial Oversight: Track expenditures and assist in financial reporting to maintain budget control.
- Communication: Facilitate clear team communication and prepare regular progress reports.
- Problem Solving: Support timely resolution of construction issues with strategic decision-making.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to building codes, permits, and regulations while maintaining documentation.
- Community Engagement: Work with local authorities and community groups to address concerns and highlight housing benefits.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Multifamily construction, preferably in affordable housing.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
