Assistant Store Manager/Key Carrier - Roses Discount Stor : Job Details

Roses/Roses Express is seeking motivated individuals to support our stores by providing essential products at great values to the communities we serve.

As an Assistant Manager/Key Carrier, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and supporting the Store Manager in overall store operations to meet company goals.

• Assist with hiring, training, and developing store team members as delegated by the Store Manager
• Support all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure company assets, including cash
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional, friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly team members
• Process all corporate directives from SSC
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise
• Manage freight flow in collaboration with the Store Manager
• Meet or exceed productivity standards
• Support ordering and stocking of merchandise
• Maintain stockroom organization
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily
• Implement directives from the Store Operations Weekly Bulletin

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs, with frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting, with or without accommodations
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
