Assistant Store Manager/Key Carrier - Roses Discount Stor : Job Details

Roses/Roses Express is seeking motivated individuals to support our stores by providing essential products at great values to the communities we serve.

As a Roses/Roses Express Assistant Manager/Key Carrier, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and supporting the Store Manager in overall store operations to meet company goals.

• Assist with hiring, training, and developing store team members as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Support all store functions and daily activities as directed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure company assets, including cash.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional, friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, take supervisory responsibility for hourly team members.
• Process corporate directives and assist with merchandise receipt, return, and freight flow management.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Assist with ordering, stocking, and organizing merchandise.
• Ensure the sales floor remains sales-effective daily.
• Implement directives from the Store Operations Weekly Bulletin.

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs, and perform physical activities such as walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
