The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role manages the store during the Store Manager's absence or on opposing shifts, leading team members in servicing customers.
Essential Job Functions:
Lead the team in providing excellent customer service.Supervise customer service levels and ensure execution of customer service programs.Assist in staffing during peak hours.Help set goals, coach, and mentor team members.Participate in hiring processes.Ensure proper answering of calls and processing of orders and returns.Manage merchandise invoicing and communication of messages.Ensure policy compliance, store opening/closing duties, and security procedures.Maintain store facilities and equipment.Perform other duties as assigned.Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities:
- Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, RSS Certification.
- Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification, ASE Certification, bilingual in multiple languages (Spanish preferred).
