As a Family Dollar Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting the Store Manager in daily store operations. Responsibilities include maintaining inventories, store appearance, and completing daily paperwork.

• Greeting and assisting customers positively, answering questions, and resolving inquiries.
• Maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment.
• Supervising, training, and developing Store Associates on operating practices.
• Assisting in unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring merchandise from stockroom to sales floor.
• Supporting store management in ordering, record-keeping, and loss prevention.
• Taking on management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Following all company policies and procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to interpret operational directives.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and 55 lbs occasionally, and to perform physical activities like walking, standing, stooping, and climbing.
• Flexible full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills include customer focus, organizational skills, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
