Position Overview

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting the Store Manager in daily store operations. Key duties include maintaining inventories, ensuring store appearance, and completing daily paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting customers positively, resolving inquiries and concerns.
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, well-stocked store.
• Supervising, training, and developing Store Associates under the Store Manager's guidance.
• Assisting with unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring goods from stockroom to store.
• Supporting in ordering merchandise, record-keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Participating in loss prevention efforts.
• Taking on management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, and up to 55 lbs occasionally, with frequent walking, standing, and other physical activities.
• Flexible full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills: Customer focus, potential development, results-driven, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
