Overview:
A Big O Tire Assistant Store Manager supervises store operations and performs customer service duties, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and promoting customer education and maintenance follow-up.

Responsibilities
- Greet and thank customers courteously, providing fast and friendly service
- Promote sales by explaining benefits of services and products
- Perform vehicle inspections and communicate maintenance requirements
- Handle sales duties, including pricing, promotions, suggestive selling, and inventory management
- Implement and follow company policies and procedures
- Perform management functions in the store manager's absence
- Manage store operations, sales, and staff training
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues effectively
- Participate in weekly meetings to review safety, policies, and updates
- Set and achieve sales, profit, and expense goals with the store manager
- Assist in financial analysis and inventory management
- Oversee cash handling, bank deposits, and work order accuracy
- Contribute to reports and documentation as required
- Maintain store appearance and equipment, ensuring safety and cleanliness
- Build customer relationships and motivate staff to deliver excellent service
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
- Communicate professionally with management, staff, vendors, and customers
- Assist in training new employees and managing daily operations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Minimum 18 years old
- Reliable transportation
- Availability for holidays, weekends, and after-hours work
- Ability to learn technical concepts and operate office equipment
- Customer communication skills
- Willingness to handle hazardous materials and outdoor weather conditions
- Ability to operate vehicles safely
- Compliance with PPE regulations
- Good vision, hearing, speech, and odor detection
- Ability to stand for up to nine hours and lift 75 pounds
- Successful completion of pre-employment screening including drug, MVR, and background checks
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Skills
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years retail or sales experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently and in teams
