Position Summary

Support the service and tire team under the direction of the Manager, Store Service. Assist in driving sales across service labor, parts, tires, and fleet business. Provide essential selling and task support by partnering with management to ensure the service repair business is organized, store operations are efficient, and shop productivity is maintained to company standards.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist in customer care, work order and register assistance, facility maintenance, and merchandising activities, including tire stocking. Ensure service equipment is in proper working order and housekeeping standards are followed.
  • Follow policies related to POS transactions, inventory, logistics, cash handling, refunds, and vendor payments.
  • Address customer service issues, complaints, and business opportunities with the management team.
  • Drive sales goals through personal engagement and coaching of advisors.
  • Support training and coaching on customer care processes, Courtesy Vehicle Inspections (CVIs), and store systems. Perform CVIs as qualified.
  • Monitor shop productivity, workflow, and safety, assisting with daily shop operations.
  • Partner with management to maintain a safe, compliant work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, management, and customers.
  • Act as the primary supervisor in the absence of management, overseeing operational activities.
  • Handle opening and closing responsibilities as a key holder.
  • Maintain an organized, clean shop environment.
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety, and environmental rules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in automotive service.
  • Preferred: one year of automotive service sales experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Basic math skills for calculating commissions and discounts.
  • Experience as a work lead or supervisor.
  • Judgment and independent work ability.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations and utilize up-sell techniques.
  • Strong cash handling skills and POS system knowledge.
  • Ability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
Physical Demands/Work Environment

Must frequently lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, reach, squat, and climb ladders. Effective communication and computer skills are required. Ability to operate a vehicle safely.

The pay range is $20.40 to $26.40 per hour, plus potential bonus, based on experience.
