Overview

Job SummaryAndy Frain Services is looking for a highly motivated individual that is multi-task oriented to assist in managing a Security contract. The role involves managing the accountability of Supervisors and staff for given accounts, full responsibility for performance, service and budget of assigned contracts, and maintaining a safe environment for all employees, vendors, and personnel. Establish working relationships with local police and fire departments, as well as with facility reports and others. Demonstrates and abides by Andy Frain Services core values and operating principles, while maintaining 100% compliance with all staff training. Managers must possess and maintain a professional image and demonstrate strong leadership skills.

  • Carry out functions in an honest, ethical and professional manner in conformance with company policies; request clarification as needed.
  • Deliver quality service and positive interaction with customers; greet visitors, vendors, and employees while maintaining standards of excellence.
  • Provide lead direction at assigned client sites to enforce security/safety programs, ensure post orders are followed, complete rounds, and file daily/weekly reports and logs.
  • Develop and implement security procedures and ensure compliance with facility policies and applicable laws; maintain knowledge of emergency policies, respond to alarms, determine action, notify authorities, and assist as needed.
  • Knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV; ensure continuous and safe operation of elevators and access doors; coordinate with authorized personnel/contractors for maintenance.
  • Operate equipment such as portable radios, telephones, copiers, fax machines, computers; conduct daily vehicle inspections and coordinate necessary repairs.
  • Counsel and discipline personnel as appropriate; meet with employees and document actions; seek guidance from management.
  • Assist in training Security Officers and Shift Lead Officers; review post orders to ensure staff competency.
  • Communicate with Operations Manager regarding account and officer performance; address security and safety issues promptly.
  • Assist in payroll and personnel information submission as designated.
  • Ensure adequate security coverage of all posts in coordination with management.
  • Inspect posts as scheduled; ensure staff sign in/out accurately for all shifts.
  • Meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and provide quality customer service.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by Managing Director.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma and/or equivalent; Associates Degree.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; offer conditioned on successful completion.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer systems.
  • One year of management experience within the Security Industry.
  • Valid Driver's License; complete licensing requirements as mandated by the State.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification a plus.
  • Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference depending on the position.
Skills And Abilities
  • Knowledge of facility layout and operational requirements; implement safety and security procedures.
  • Design staffing and security plans; identify recruiting sources and maintain relationships.
  • Recruit and hire personnel; train and certify staff on an ongoing basis.
  • Build teams that exceed customer expectations; manage payroll and reports.
  • Develop and implement training programs; maintain safety programs and post orders.
  • Meet with customers and city representatives to assess performance and develop best practices.
  • Maintain records on licensed security officers in compliance with regulations.
  • Create employee recognition programs; identify local organizations to support community services.
  • Maintain fiscal responsibility for account profitability; contribute to sales growth and strategy.
  • Meet licensing requirements for Security Officers and any site-specific skill requirements.
  • Knowledge of security operations, management practices, and device controls.
  • Ability to supervise, adapt to various sites, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills; strong interpersonal abilities across diverse cultures.
