Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking a dedicated Assistant Resident Manager for a property in Novato, California. The Assistant Resident Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Resident Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the site, focusing on fiscal, physical, and social aspects of the property. The ideal candidate will be proactive in seeking solutions to complex issues and assist with employee supervision while requiring minimal oversight from the Resident Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with collecting rent, managing bank deposits, preparing and submitting rent rolls, and income verification.
  • Monitor work orders and conduct daily inspections of the property grounds.
  • Handle telephone inquiries, manage filing systems, and prepare correspondence.
  • Support residents by addressing questions or resolving issues.
  • Assist with eviction processes, annual inspections, and necessary repairs.
  • Aid in re-certifications by notifying residents, setting up appointments, and tracking progress.
  • Ensure compliance with HUD, TCAC, DFEH, and ADA guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Resident Manager to enhance resident relations and problem-solving strategies.
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience in affordable housing property management.
  • Familiarity with HUD, TCAC, DFEH, and ADA guidelines.
  • Proven skills in problem-solving and resident relations.
  • Strong computer and phone communication skills.
Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Benefits

The position offers a competitive pay range of $24 to $30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
