Job SummaryThe Assistant Projects Director supports the Facilities and Campus Services Career Ladder and other PWE programming, assisting with project activities, logistics, monitoring, evaluation, and course development.

Essential Functions

  • Provide technical support for the Facilities and Campus Services Career Ladder project, including engaging project partners, needs assessment, project design, logistics, monitoring, evaluation, reporting, course development, teaching, and documentation coordination.
  • Support other PWE career ladder programs.
  • Assist in developing new proposals on and off campus.
  • Engage with staff and administration within Facilities and Campus Services.
  • Participate in PWE staff meetings.

Other FunctionsPerform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with over 3 years of relevant experience or Master's Degree with 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Experience in proposal writing, project management, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Excellent communication, public relations, presentation, writing, and editing skills.
  • Knowledge of participatory processes and teaching methods.
  • Strong teaching skills.
  • Experience with social justice and diversity initiatives.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks.
  • Leadership experience in team settings.
  • Experience working with diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Preferred QualificationsMaster's Degree in a related field.

Physical Demands/Working ConditionsTypical office environment.

Work Schedule

  • Part-time, 25 hours/week with potential for increased hours.
  • Schedule to be determined; hybrid work possible per university policy.

SalaryLevel 26, PSU Hiring Ranges.
