Essential Job Functions: Coordinate engineering studies Coordinate change order requests Coordinate situations with engineers Coordinate with estimating on projects Submittals and requests for information Work with owners and clients on specifications and technical questionsin planning stages Work on projects in planning stages Coordinate with owners or clients on planning projects Coordinate with regional managers on status of projects Create subcontracts and POs Track job costs and predict monthly revenue streams Manage QA/QC on projects Identify, research and resolve all contract disputes with the Owner Maintain prime contract with the Owner or Client Establish monthly billing procedure with the Owner or Client Establish and maintain job cost control, which will be reported monthly Review general conditions cost on a monthly basis Review subcontractors application for payment based on percent complete and approve or adjust Approve material and subcontract invoices for payment Issue change orders to subcontractors Initiate and execute all monthly progress payments to the Owner Invest time and effort in enhancing apprentices skills and knowledge champion the process Provide positive environment to support coaching and mentoring of apprentices Commit to accurate classification to ensure PWA (Prevailing Wage & Apprenticeship) compliance when applicable Commit to involving PWA (Prevailing Wage & Apprenticeship) team prior to subcontract negotiations Ensure documents in regard to discipline for apprentices gets filled out completely and submitted to HR and PWA team for DOL purposesWe are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Required Skills & ExperienceBachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of three years of construction industry experience/knowledge of construction techniques, estimating and construction management Solar experience!!!
