Great opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the successful execution of commercial interior projects in the NYC metro area.

Description

  • Assist Project Manager with planning, coordination, and execution of commercial interior construction projects

  • Manage project documentation through Procore, including RFIs, submittals, drawings, daily logs, and meeting minutes

  • Track subcontractor compliance (COIs, waivers, safety forms) and ensure timely submissions

  • Prepare and review AIA pay applications, change orders, and schedule of values

  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and procurement logs

  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain project timelines

  • Conduct site visits and inspections, ensuring jobsite safety and quality standards are upheld

  • Assist with punch list development and project close-out documentation

Profile

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in commercial interiors construction

  • Proficiency in Procore is required

  • Strong working knowledge of AIA forms and construction billing practices

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred

  • Solid understanding of construction sequencing, trades, and NYC DOB requirements

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and eager to grow within the company
