JOB SUMMARYThe Assistant Project Manager coordinates support and is introduced to supervising one or more healthcare, residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects. Assistant Project Managers support to the implementation of project goals as directed by the Project Managers. The Assistant Project Manager supports ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget with maintaining overall project execution and documentation. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Analyze construction documents and interpret with the ability to identify, execute, and troubleshoot issues - Scope of Work Interpretation
- Monitor and Maintain the submittal, RFI, and project documentation requirements
- Prepare potential cost impacts and Change Orders.
- Maintain subcontractor submittals in accordance with construction documents
- Handles quality assurance and quality control in all aspects
- Monitor daily work activities to ensure proper adherence with company and Jobsite safety requirements
- Monitor and Maintain CPM schedule and regular updating to track construction progress
- Works directly with the Project Manager or Project Director and assists with the submittal process as well as generates RFI's as needed throughout the project.
- Monitors accurate project schedules.
- Responsible for administrative duties of meetings with architects, engineers, owner's representatives, field supervisors, building inspectors, and other city officials.
- Responsible for maintaining daily reports and creating and maintaining Work In Progress reports from a project start to finish.
- Maintain all documentation in PROCORE
- Enforce all Building Resources policies and procedures and hold staff accountable
- Additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications and Experience
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience with construction projects
- 1+ experience in construction resource scheduling
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Highly organized and detailed oriented with the ability to execute processes to ensure they are efficiently and effectively implemented.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Competency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines.

- Work is performed mainly in field settings. Considerable outdoor work is required to inspect various construction sites or public works facilities. Hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate testing tools, instruments, and multiple pieces of equipment.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; sit; walk; talk or hear; use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. In addition, the employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at times.
