Our client, a nationally recognized leader in construction solutions, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support high-value, high-impact construction projects across the Washington D.C. area. This role offers the opportunity to assist in delivering complex data center, mission-critical, and large commercial builds—while positioning yourself for future growth through a structured leadership development program.
What You'll Do:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale construction projects.
- Work closely with project managers, field teams, and subcontractors to drive project success.
- Support scheduling, cost tracking, and financial reporting efforts using industry-standard software.
- Contribute to a culture of collaboration and quality, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to spec.
- Use tools like Microsoft Project, Procore, Bluebeam, and Adobe to maintain clear communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
What We're Looking For:
- 3 – 7 years of experience in the construction industry, ideally supporting or managing complex projects of $25M+.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Prior experience working with a general contractor is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Procore, Bluebeam, and Adobe platforms.
- Strong communicator with a detail-oriented, collaborative mindset.
- Familiarity with financial reporting tools is preferred.
