Job Description :
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction and experience with tenant improvements, especially in financial institutions, big-box stores, Costco, and restaurants. This position will involve working on a variety of projects including ground-up construction, office buildings, and bank renovations. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Project Manager in planning and coordinating all aspects of the project, including budget, timeline, and resources.
  • Communicate with construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project progress and quality standards.
  • Review project plans and specifications to identify potential issues and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project plans and safety regulations.
  • Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records for all project activities.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during the project.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Assist with budget management, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure project deadlines are met and address any delays or roadblocks as they arise.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as an Assistant Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of tenant improvements and familiarity with financial institutions, big-box stores, Costco, and restaurants.
  • Experience with ground-up construction, office buildings, and bank renovations is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
  • Understanding of construction safety regulations and procedures.
